Warehouse Management
MIASA Logística manages all warehousing in an organized manner, relying on a computer system that allows for complete merchandise tracking.
Our procedures are tailored to each client, from simple operations to more complex logistics processes, with the option of B2B integration to facilitate coordination.
PROCESS STEPS (TIMELINE)
1. Receiving goods
The first phase of the process is the receipt of the goods at our facilities.
The goods are unloaded using appropriate technical equipment, and then the product is inspected, verifying its condition and performing the necessary quality controls to ensure that the goods meet the established requirements.
2. Administrative Entrance
Once the goods are received, they are entered into the management system.
In this phase, all associated documentation is registered, including order lines, purchase orders, kilograms, batches, packages, and pallets. This record ensures precise control from the outset and allows for complete product traceability.
3. Transit warehouse
After administrative entry, the merchandise is transferred to the transit warehouse, where initial operational organization takes place.
In this phase, products are classified by type, family, and batch, labeled according to their characteristics, and assigned a temporary location within the warehouse. This step prepares the merchandise for its final, correct location and streamlines subsequent operations.
4. Storage
Once sorted and labeled, the merchandise is placed in its final location within the warehouse, following established safety, compatibility, and organizational criteria.
This phase ensures orderly, secure storage adapted to the characteristics of each product, allowing for efficient stock management and quick access when needed.
5. Order Management
When an order is received from the customer, the order management and preparation phase begins.
In this stage, the order and delivery date are communicated, transport is arranged when specified by the customer, and the order is prepared using a loading order (picking).
In addition, palletizing and shrink-wrapping are carried out when applicable, as well as final inspection and labeling. This phase allows for adapting the preparation process to both small quantity orders and full pallet orders.
6. Goods dispatch
The final stage of the process is the shipment of goods from the warehouse. Order preparation can range from picking operations to full pallet shipments. The corresponding documentation is issued, including customized delivery notes, packing lists, and waybills. Finally, the goods are loaded onto the vehicle, ensuring that the product is correctly identified and prepared for transport.
